Programme Outcomes (POS)

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and programming skills to solve real world problems(Engineering knowledge).
  • Identify, formulate, survey literature and analyze real world problems to arrive at valid solutions( Problem analysis).
  • Design, implement, and evaluate solutions for IT problems with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental considerations( Design/development of solutions).
  • Analyze, design, implement and validate information using research based domain knowledge to arrive at solutions for complex problems(Conduct investigation of complex problems).
  • Apply appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering and software tools to develop solutions for complex and real-time problems with an understanding of their limitations(Modern tools usage).
  • Assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the IT engineering practices (The engineer and society).
  • Provide IT engineering solutions for sustainable development and eco friendly environment(Environment and sustainability).
  • Follow ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practices(Ethics).
  • Contribute effectively as an individual/member or leader of diverse and/or multidisciplinary fields(Individual and team work).
  • Communicate effectively both in verbal and written forms with engineering community in particular and with society in general(Communication).
  • Apply the principles of engineering and management as a member and/or leader to manage projects in multidisciplinary environment(Project management and finance).
  • Recognize the need and pursue life-long learning to keep abreast of technological changes( Life-long learning).
